Shared Mail Bagging
Plans
Monthly Email Volume
- Due to limitations within a shared environment, customers reaching
maximum email volume levels may cause other customers to experience
slow performance and/or time-outs when attempting to view and/or flush
the mail queue as all emails must be compared against specific account
criteria. (These issues pertain only to the Web-based
interface. The actual server is not affected.)

Delivery Attempt Cycle
- How often Webservio's Mail Bagging server will attempt to forward
emails to your primary mail server.
Additional Users for Postini®
- Regular Postini® setup fee includes setup of one domain
and an admin account. The Administrator may then add users themselves.
Alternatively, Webservio will perform setup of users at a rate
of $125 per hour. Typically 1 hour is sufficient for all users
to be added.
Setup
of Directory Synchronization with Postini®
- If you have a Directory Server, then Postini can contact your
server and grab your user list information in order to add,
delete or move users so that your list of users in Postini will
always match your list of users on your directory server. The
Directory Sync will work with Microsoft Active Directory 2000,
2003, and Sun ONE Directory Server. Your administrator can set
up this service or contact Webservio for assistance at the rate
of $125 per hour.
Lite Anti-Spam Protection
- Multiple spam and virus checks are ran on bagged emails for non-Postini
customers only. These include MailScanner and RBL lookups using
SpamHaus, SpamCop, and CBL. These filters can not be turned
off for individual customers. Blantant spam and suspicious emails
will not be bagged. Also, some attachments (ie .exe files, etc.)
will be stripped from bagged messages. For mail bagging
with no filtering of any kind, please view our VPS
or Dedicated Mail Bagging
plans.
Anti-Spam Control Panel
- Administrators may accept/block email addresses, networks, domains,
or users. This control panel is an effective tool in the prevention
of Dictionary attacks. Please see the Postini®
pages for a more comprehensive anti-virus/spam filtering solution. (Included
FREE with top-most pricing only.)
Web Interface to View Mail Queue
- Allows you to view the contents of the Mail Queue. Due to limitations
within a shared environment, customers reaching maximum email volume
levels may cause other customers to experience slow performance and/or
time-outs when attempting to view the mail queue.
Web Interface to Flush Queue
- You may update your mail server IP address, manually flush your mail
queue, view a snap shot of your log file, and update monitoring
notification addresses, if applicable. Due to limitations within a
shared environment, customers reaching maximum email volume levels may
cause other customers to experience slow performance and/or time-outs
when attempting to view and/or flush the mail queue as all emails must
be compared against specific account criteria. (These issues pertain only
to the Web-based interface. The actual server is not affected.)

Monitoring Notifications
- Notifications may be received as email or text messages to 1-4 email
addresses. You may have the ability to update the monitoring email
addresses through the Web Interface.
Engineering Time
- Receive up to one hour with a Webservio Engineer during business
after hours to test the Mail Bagging scenario with your mail server.
Email Continuity Add-On
- Send and receive emails via Webservio's Web-based system during your
server outage.
